The right tire and wheel is the most critical component to a good
handling race car. See what tires are working at the track where you will
race and keep a fresh set for that A-Main win! World champion racers
always say that when they are tuning a car for a new track or track
conditions, they always start with the tires. Once you've selected a tire,
a nice set of wheels can really set off the looks of your ride. Look to
HPI and RPM for some awesome chrome wheels that work very well and look
even better.
Top drivers never put a tire on their car that hasn't been balanced. Balancing tires not only makes the car's suspension work smoother and easier, it also reduces friction by combating the effects of vibration and centrifugal force where the rubber meets the road making the car feel lighter. Dubro's Prop Balancer for on-road tires or Trinity's 6063 Balancer for off-road tires work great.
